You know when you all of a sudden get that boost of excitement that you can't contain? I have had that boost all night. :) I am sure you all REALLY want to know all about my excitement... Right? ;)
Well...
Today I slept. A real long hard sleep. I felt completely refreshed. Then I talked to my Best friends. On Facebook, What a wonderful invention, along with on my cell phone, Louie. I then bought a plane ticket to Arizona. :) That in itself is enough excitement to last me a whole year. It was just a great day.
My mom always says "Make it a great day."
When I wake up in the morning?
"Make it a great day"
When She drops me off at school?
"Make it a great day."
Not
"Have a great day"
but
"Make it a great day. "
There is a story I heard once about a man who always had a great attitude. No matter what you did to him he was happy. The villian in the story would try everything he could to make the man unhappy. Sometimes I think, I can't do anything about my day. For instance... Everything goes wrong.
You step in gum.
You wake up late.
You fail your test.
You have a bad hair day.
You forget to clean your room and your mom gets mad at you.
You forget your lunch.
You can't find something to wear.
Sounds like a pretty rotten day. Right? Wrong. Because of your attitude. You can still have the best day ever after all that. Some people ask is I really did have an "amazing" or "wonderful" or "swell" day.
Well.. I did. Because I made it that way.
Isn't that a wonderful concept? :)
