Moving.
It is coming fast.
I honestly can't believe how fast it is coming. There are only a few days left and here I am spending them on my blog. Blog readers? I am sorry that you have to read these gushy posts. But honestly? This is the only way I can get my feelings out. So if you don't want to read it? ...Well don't.

Today I spent the whole day cleaning. Baseboards. Walls. Carpet. Banisters. Toilets. Doors. Sinks. Windows.
Everything.
Our home is getting more empty as I speak. It is starting to feel like a house now not a home. But I have learned something. Home is where ever you make it. Arizona? Utah? Texas? Who knows what is next... Alaska? But you know what? No matter where we go, it is home. Because we make it that way. Texas is our new home.

I have learned something else from all of this.

I have received many sweet notes/emails/messages/wall posts etc. explaining how I WAS a good friend or how they are so grateful for the friendship we HAD. But I don't want these friendships to end. I may be moving approximately 970 miles away, but this is not the end. Friendships continue. I love each memory and friendship I have had but I do not want them to end. I want them to continue.

There is a childrens story that is one of my favorites. I used to read it every night before I went to bed. The story is of a train engine who did not think he could pull a heavy load over a mountain. He felt that there were too many larger and better trains who could do the job better than he. The little engine did not belivee in himself and soon the toys and treats did not believe in him. Later in the story he gains his self confidence. He chants "I think I can... I think I can.." over and over again as he climbs the mountain. He makes it. Everyone cheers. Everyone is happy.

I don't think I can do this, I know I can. "With faith all things are possible." I have faith and I know I can do this. Do you have faith in me? I sure hope you do. I could use some cheerleading. :)

Christmas Eve

This year we decided to start a new tradition. Usually Christmas Eve is a huge meal with Ham and Potatotos etc. This year we decided to try a Tradition Bathlahem Meal. (something that they might have had back when Jesus was Born.)Goat Cheese SaladPita BreadBraided Bread with Grapes, pomagranite, Olives, celary, carrots, and Goat Cheese. After the meal we all went back to our old tradition of acting out the Nativity play.

Daniel was a shepherd
Ben played Joseph
Michael played all three wiseman
Emma was the Angel/Star
Sarah was Mary
My Daddy was the Narrator/Guitar player. Afew action shots...

I am so gald that we decided to both of theses traditions. It is a fun time spent with Family and really makes us think about the true meaning of Christmas.

I just need one perfect boy. Just one. My Prince Charming is somewhere out there. I just have to be patient. Someday. For now I just have to trust in Brook's Aunt Linde. :)

I can spend hours talking to these girls and I love it. We can do nothing and have fun. We could talk all day long about anything or not talk at all and I have fun. I could spend every moment of my life with them and never get sick of them. I honestly love them,. Everything about them. They are two of my favorite people. I love them. Thank you.

I have decided that I compare myself to others way too much.

Practically everyday I spend comparing myself to others.

Sometimes it is good. Most of the time it is bad.

For instance, I look up to many people and want to become more like them. That is good. However when I do it too much I my self esteem begins to dwindle. This is bad. So here is my goal. I can look up to people as much as I want but I need to be happy with me. Happy with my hair. Happy with my body type. Happy with my teeth. (That one is going to be a tough one.) Happy with my situation. Happy with Everything. This way life is so much more enjoyable. My goal starts today and I need all of your help. When I begin to complain? Stop me. Please.

Everything in Moderation. That is the key.
