Today is the day to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the day when I first became a sister.
At every fountain I threw a penny. I watched for every first star.
Lots of wishes and prayers were spent.
She was a dream come true.
And I still love her.
And today is the day to celebrate.
Dear Kayla,
I know that you are going through some rough times. I know that life isn't always rainbows and butterflies. I know that your heart aches for all that you left behind. I know that sometimes you wish that things were different than they are now.
But thanks so much for making the decision to come to earth. Thanks for trying your hardest. Thanks for teaching me. Thanks for being my friend.
Thanks for being my sister.
Keep being the best you can be. I know that you can do hard things. Your future is bright.
