30 little toesies...

I have been wanting to get my toes done for a while now and I still do but I needed to paint them before Sunsplash and I knew that they wouldn't get done before that so I decided I would just paint them myself and what better way to spend a Sunday afternoon then painting these little girls toesies too? Of course they were more then happy to oblige! :)

Sarah was first...

She wanted hot pink with orange polka dots at the top....

Their favorite part was the "tickly" lotion and body wash I put on their feet. It was so cute to hear their sweet giggles. I admit that they didn't turn out as cute as I would of hoped but it was a good sister bonding time and I am sure they enjoyed it very much! :)

Can you believe it?

I most certainly cannot belive that Lindsey has graduated! AHHHH!!! Our Day was very busy. We woke up on Saturday morining and made food and got ready and then we opened Lindsey's Graduation gifts! She got a laptop, a camera, some jewelry, and a TON of money! Then Lindsey had to leave to catch a bus necause she wanted to go with her choir friends. After Lindsey left we had some lunch and then left with my Grandparents to go to the graduation.We dropped off some food with my other grandparents and then went to find a seat for the graduation. The graduation seemed to go very well but it just seemd to drap on and on... When they called Lindsey's name my entire family stood up and cheered things like" OW OW!" "We love you Lindsey" or just the common "AHHHH" Then we all kind of zoned out for the rest of the name reading... After the graduation it took us a while to find everyone but once we did we took a bunch of pictures... I am only posting a few of them on here because there are so many! Then we drove to my Grandma Heywood's house and had the food the we had made earlier... (which was very yummy) Then we went home and set up Lindsey's laptop and camera. After that, Lindsey left to go to a Graduation party. So all-in-all it was a very long day especially for Lindsey since she doesn't like being in the center of attention... and I couldn't get the pictures to go in chronoligical order so if you start at the bottome then they go in chronological order! :)

She's Growing up...

Our sweet little Emma pie graduated from Preschool on Wednesday. Can you believe it? I most certainly cannot. She is too little to be a big Kindergartener already! She is going to do great in Kindergarten though because she is so smart! She already knows her letters and numbers and is just about as social as a five year old can get. :)

Memorial Day

Every Memorial Day we listen to stories about our ancestors and then we go and put flowers on their graves in the Mesa Cemetary. So last night my parents told us the stories and then this morning we set out to place flowers on their graves. We got a late start but we were still able to get the task accomplished! :) Then we went out to eat at Souper Salad which was really good except I think I gained another ten pounds! After that we dropped off everyone and then Lindsey, my Mom and I, set out to find Lindsey a graduation Dress. We were very lucky to find one in the first store we looked. Then we got her some shoes and jewelry and I got a beach bag and sunglasses. All in all it was a very successful day! :)

A Sudden Urge...

I all of a sudden got this urge of excitement for my new room. I have been planning this room for a LONG time and I keep buying things and putting them under my bed. My bed is now stocked full of stuff for my room and I just can not wait until I am able to paint and move in. Here is the list of the things I still need to get for my room!

*Book ends

*Magazine rack

*Material to cover bulletian boards

*A black and white picture of Jesus

*Paint

*Waste Basket

* Black and White polka dot sheets

*Some sort of decoration to go over my bed (Let me know if you have any ideas)

I am sure there are still a few other things I have to get but I am definately making progress. Here is a picture of the bedspread I got! I absolutely love it and I don't care if you don't because I Totally do and I can not wait until I move in! :)

Happy and Shocked at the Same time.... Is that even possible?

Oh my goodness I am so happy that Kris won! I must say that I was convinced that Adam Lambert was going to win and although he is good..... It's just not my style! At the beginning I wanted Alyson to win but once she got kicked off I had been watching really closely and Kris had gotten A LOT better! Oh my goodness when he sang Heartless I just about dropped dead! AWWWW... I can hear the angels singing! :)

Lindsey's Last Choir Concert...

On thursday was Lindsey's last Choir Concert and it was definatley a bitter sweet moment. Lindsey has loved choir ever since she started and has done it practically her entire life. She is an AMAZING singer and is extremely talented. I was very grateful that I was able to go see this last concert and get a few good laughs at all her facial expression! :)

Birthday Girl

I had a very good 14th birthday! The Day started out just like a normal day I woke up and got ready and didn't have a special breakfast or anything. Then I got to Revue Practice and everyone was wishing me Happy birthday and I got LOTS of gifts( despite my wishes) and was feel very loved. The only thing that could have made that morning better was if Emma would have smiled and tried to be happy. Then I went throughout the day with lots of birthday wishes and I got sang to a couple of times. Right when I got home I had Dazzle Dance Dress Rehearsal and that went really well. Leah was able to come over and help take pictures and boy she sure did a good job! Then right after they left my Grandparents came over and we had salmon and potatoes for dinner. After Dinner we opened presents and ate cake. I didn't get a chance to finish my last bite of cake because straight from that we had to go to my sisters last choir concert of her Senior Year! When I got home (around 10) I finally was able to get a start on my homework. It was a great busy fun day and I am so glad for friends and family that tried to turn it into a GRAND day!

My Latest Project

It takes a LOT of work, time and effort to turn 12 yards of this.... Into eight of these....

The last few nights my mom and I have been staying up late trying to make these tutus for the dress rehearsal which was on Thursday. We got the fabric on Monday night after FHE and then cut it out on Tuesday and then wednesday night we stayed up SUPER late in order to finish them in time! but guess what? We finished! (and I must say that I think they turned out pretty cute) Thanks MOM!
